However, it’s not suitable for heavily textured surfaces or painted walls, as it may remove paint upon removal. It is safe for smooth surfaces and commonly used for LED strip lights, trims, car registration plates, name plates, address plaques, signs, emblems, car holders, metal mailboxes, power strips, and various construction, signage to electronics, automotive, home and office decorations.

Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.
